Maria R. Harrington is of counsel in the Orange County office of Littler Mendelson, PC, the largest US-based law firm exclusively devoted to representing management in every aspect of labor and employment law.
Ms. Harrington focuses her practice on single-plaintiff and class action litigation representing employers in matters involving discrimination, harassment, the FMLA, the Fair Employment and Housing Act, the California Family Rights Act and California Pregnancy Disability Leave.
She appears in state and federal courts in California and Hawai'i, as well as before the EEOC and equivalent state agencies.
Ms. Harrington also routinely counsels clients on human resources issues, legal compliance and litigation avoidance, and drafts human resources policies.
She often works with accounting firms, restaurants, transportation companies, retail stores and high-tech companies.
Ms. Harrington received her JD from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1998 and her BA from the University of California, Irvine, in 1995, cum laude.
