Michelle Barrett Falconer is a shareholder in the San Francisco office of Littler Mendelson, PC, a US-based law firm exclusively devoted to representing management in every aspect of labor and employment law.
As co-chair of Littler Mendelson's leave of absence and disability accommodation practice group, Ms. Falconer has extensive experience assisting clients with the design and administration of leave of absence and accommodation policies and procedures; counseling employers regarding day-to-day leave and accommodation issues; training management and HR staff in these areas; and defending claims under the FMLA, ADA and related state laws.
She also counsels clients regarding other personnel matters, litigation avoidance and compliance with various federal and state laws.
Prior to law school, Ms. Falconer worked as an HR representative for one of the largest privately held agri-business firms in the US where she developed training programs and dual-language tests for employers.
Ms. Falconer received her JD from Georgetown University Law Center in 1998, and her AB from Stanford University in 1994.
