Stephen Melnick is an associate in the Boston and Providence, RI offices of Littler Mendelson, PC, the largest US based law firm exclusively devoted to representing management in every aspect of labor and employment law.
Mr. Melnick counsels and represents employers in various areas of employment law and traditional labor law, including discrimination, harassment and retaliation, non-competition and trade secrets, wrongful termination, unfair labor practices, and complex litigation and class actions.
He routinely advises employers on compliance and litigation avoidance in matters involving wage and hour, leaves, employment and separation agreements, and employee discipline and discharge.
Prior to joining Littler in 2006, Mr. Melnick worked as a field representative for both the EEOC and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.
He received his JD from the Boston College Law School in 2006, cum laude, and his BA from Cornell University in 2003, with honors.
Mr. Melnick is admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
