Employers must have a completed Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9 (Form I-9) for all employees hired after November 6, 1986. The Form I-9 process requires employers to verify the identity of their employees and that the employees are authorized to work in the US. This checklist can assist employers in the Form I-9 process.
