When to Use

The employer's management team should create and adopt a mission statement at the beginning of a diversity and inclusion initiative. It should be distributed to all employees by the President/CEO, and it should be prominently placed on the employer's intranet site and website. The statement's purpose is to clearly set forth the employer's commitment to diversity and inclusion worldwide. It serves as a foundation on which the Global Diversity and Inclusion initiative is based.
