San Diego, California, Minimum Wage Notice Poster

Entity Mandating Poster: San Diego Enforcement Office, as designated by the City Council.

Applicability: All employers subject to the San Diego Earned Sick Leave and Minimum Wage Ordinance.

Where to Post: This notice must be posted in a conspicuous place at any workplace or job site where any employee works.

Distribution Specifications: Every employer must provide new hires with written notice of the employer's name, address and telephone number and information regarding the minimum wage, including:

  • Retaliation protections; and
  • The right to file a complaint with the Enforcement Office or a court of competent jurisdiction.

The notices may be provided via accessible electronic means as a substitute for hard copies.

Obtaining This Poster: An employer may obtain this notice by visiting San Diego's website. The notice must be posted in English and in any other language (i) for which translated ballot materials are available; and (ii) that is spoken by at least five percent of the employees at the employer's job site.
