Entity Mandating Poster: Seattle Office for Civil Rights.
Applicability: Employers with at least one employee working in Seattle are covered by the notice provisions of the Seattle Sick and Safe Leave law.
Where to Post: This notice must be posted in a place or places where employees can see it.
Distribution Specifications: An employer must provide notice to employees of their rights under the Seattle Sick and Leave Law. An employer may comply with the law's notice provisions by: (i) including a paper or electronic copy of the model notice in its employee handbooks or other written guidance for employees concerning employee benefits or leave rights, if the employer provides such written materials; or (ii) distributing a copy of the notice to each new employee when hired; or (iii) displaying a poster in a conspicuous and accessible place in each establishment where its employees work. An employer may distribute the model notice electronically.
