When to Use
The effective management and operation of an employer often depends on dependable and reliable employees who are present in the workplace on a regular basis. Including an attendance policy in the employee handbook will set forth the employer's expectations regarding attendance. If employees know what is expected of them, there is less of a likelihood they will defy expectations.
