When to Use
An employer legally required under federal, state or local law to offer leave, an accommodation, or other support to an employee experiencing a pregnancy loss may use this policy to communicate the benefits to its employees.
Additionally, an employer that chooses to provide greater benefits than those required by law or that wishes to provide leave and support even though it is not legally required to do so may also use this policy to demonstrate its commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive environment.
