Indiana Law Prohibiting Terminations Based on Filing of Protective Order to Take Effect

Effective July 1, 2015, an Indiana employer may not terminate an employee because (1) the employee has filed a petition for a protective order for protection of the employee, whether or not the protective order has been granted; or (2) because of the actions of a person against whom the employee has filed a protective order. +2015 Bill Text IN H.B. 1159.
