If an employer receives a complaint regarding inappropriate touching in the workplace, the employer should make every effort to fully investigate the allegations by conducting a thorough investigation. The employer should interview all potential witnesses and collect any witness statements. The employer should then make sure that it follows up with any interim measures or disciplinary measures, if needed, and that such measures are applied equally to all offending employees.
