Summary
- Although the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSH Act) encourages employers to have an approved state plan regarding job safety and health programs, Missouri does not have an approved state plan. See Missouri's On-Site Safety and Health Consultation Program.
- Missouri does have an On-Site Safety and Health Consultation Program through which employers in high hazard industries with less than 250 on-site employees and no more than 500 employees nationwide can receive a free mock inspection similar to one OSHA might perform. See Missouri's On-Site Safety and Health Consultation Program.
