- Legislation sets an objective that employers should provide their employees with an average of five days' training per year. (See General)
- Employees are entitled to time off on full pay to attend recognised vocational or general training courses. (See Paid training leave)
- Under a specific apprenticeship contract, apprentices can receive practical training in-house and theoretical training in an approved training/education centre. (See Apprenticeships)
