Should an employer monitor or restrict the use of Google Glass in the workplace?

Yes. It is advisable for an employer to monitor and/or restrict the use of Google Glass in the workplace because it presents a wide variety of concerns including invasion of privacy issues and the risk that that the employer's confidential information and intellectual property and trade secrets will be disclosed. Further, it may present safety issues if an employee is wearing Google Glass while driving or operating hazardous machinery.
