Tennessee Aligns Hours Worked With FLSA

Implementation Date: July 1, 2024

Effective July 1, 2024, Tennessee defines work under its wage and hour law to have the same meaning as interpreted by the United States Supreme Court under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and to exclude certain pre- and post-shift activities and de minimis time.
