Summary

  • In addition to the federal equal opportunity laws, Idaho employers must comply with the Idaho Human Rights Act. See Disability Discrimination in Idaho.
  • Idaho law prohibits making employment decisions based on an individual's disability, unless the individual with or without a reasonable accommodation cannot perform the required work. See The Idaho Human Rights Act.
  • Also, Idaho's Genetic Testing Privacy Act forbids employers from considering a person's genetic information. See Genetic Testing Privacy Act.
