Author: Jill Gormley, Strong and Clear Communications

Cyberbullying in the workplace is any use of an employer's communications systems and information technologies to send or spread offensive, abusive and/or threatening messages meant to hurt or embarrass another individual.

Cyberbullying can include sending offensive or threatening emails, posting comments to social networking sites containing offensive and abusive comments, or spreading rumors about another through email.
