Summary

  • Employers of 25 or more employees in the Commonwealth must physically post information on seizure first aid in the workplace in a place visible to employees. See Seizure First Aid Poster.
  • Virginia permits the possession of marijuana or tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) when that possession occurs pursuant to a valid prescription for treatment of cancer or glaucoma. See Medical Marijuana.
  • Virginia does not have laws requiring employers to provide a smoke-free workplace. See Smoking in the Workplace.
