Legal Timetable Usability Enhancements

Additional enhancements have now released to XpertHR's popular Legal Timetable, based on user feedback. For those less familiar with the benefits of this particular tool, the Legal Timetable includes summaries of federal, state and key local employment law developments (by effective date) to keep employers up to date on upcoming and implemented employment law legislation. It includes features that allow users to subscribe to editorially maintained calendars, as well as add individual developments to their personal calendars to better ensure organizational compliance with changes. Users can also search for and filter developments by state or city name or other keywords.

Developments in the Legal Timetable were previously organized under three tabs - "Pending," "Recent" and "Archived." To provide our users with a more streamlined and intuitive experience, the following changes were made:

  • The "Pending" tab has been renamed to "Upcoming," and contains enacted developments with a future effective date;
  • The "Recent" tab has been renamed to "Implemented," and contains all developments that have already taken effect; and
  • The "Archive" tab has been removed and its contents have been migrated to the "Implemented" tab.

These changes and continued enhancements to this tool make it even easier for you to stay up to date on changes in upcoming and already-implemented employment laws. As always, your feedback is welcome by emailing feedback@xperthr.com.
