Utah to Prohibit Discrimination Based on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity: Employment Law Manual and Chart Updated, Legal Timetable Entry Added

On March 12, 2015, Utah enacted a law banning discrimination and harassment against lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender individuals. As a result, Utah employers will be prohibited from making an employment decision based on an individual's sexual orientation or gender identity or expression when the law takes effect on May 12, 2015.

Based on this development, the following Utah sections of the Employment Law Manual have been updated:
