Addressing Poor Performance: New Liveflo Flowchart Published!

XpertHR's innovative Liveflo Tool now includes a flowchart to assist an employer in addressing an employee's poor performance.
The flowchart walks an employer through a step-by-step decision-making and performance management process. The interactive flowchart provides an employer with guidance on whether to resolve a performance issue:
- Through the use of nondisciplinary measures, such as training or offering an accommodation;
- By placing the employee on a performance improvement plan; or
- By disciplining the employee.
Additional XpertHR flowcharts address complex workplace issues, including determining "pay or play" penalties under the Affordable Care Act, disciplining an employee using progressive discipline, and classifying a position as exempt or nonexempt.
